This is a brief apology for the lack of regular newsletters. Believe it or not I have one ready and eager, but there, as we always say, is the rub. The process to bring it from my voice dictation software into my Google docs for editing, and then cut and paste to bring it here, is some effort. I'm still learning too that this is my new life, this is how I am and as a writer I must get used to this way of being, this way of writing.
I'm up against it too with hold ups and failures within our tattered NHS which delays my progress and recovery. This is never about individuals, it's about systems and practises broken by a government with sickening agendas. I'll always fight back and always use my words, but I am tired of battling what should be, quite frankly, quite basic support after brain bleeds, and I'd much rather be finishing my new novel which brings me - and I hope you very soon - much excitement.
So for now, I ask that you bear with me. And thank you for your kind support.
I want to tell you stories, the real, the fictional, the somewhere in between, and very soon there will be more.
